Sporting gold at the Preds games. I had this suit before my dear friend Patti Talbot made me the one with the team logo all over it. Patti makes a lot of crazy suits for me. I get a kick out of dressing a bit crazy; it’s fun!

Here he is singing his mega-hit Drunk on a Plane wearing a pilots uniform literally flying his lighting rig. The motion control would swing him to and fro up there… just awesome.
Fun fact.
Early into writing this book, I thought it might be cool to tie music in somehow. Not yet proud of my music, I thought about my friends and the song Riser by Dierks came to mind. It is such a song of tenacity. I even thought about calling the book Riser and asking Dierks to write the foreword. When I called Dierks and asked his thoughts, he said he loved the idea. He even said that he’d be willing to write a chapter. That sparked the idea… if I am writing a book on being tenacious, why wouldn’t I call upon my inspiring friends to chime in? And so, thanks to Dierk’s support, that’s what I did. After adding the other guests, a title referencing Dierks’ song didn’t make sense, so the title shifted back to Tenacity. Yup, this book was called Tenacity for six years. When Frontline signed me, they suggested that Tenacious might ring better with audiences. I was fine with that, but back to the story. For a brief period, this book was named Riser. It’s an incredible song, give it a listen here.
